Let’s work together to find your voice!

I believe that every voice student has the ability to succeed.

My goal is to work with YOU as your find YOUR version of success.

Understanding the most successful environment for learning is one that fosters creativity in a safe, supportive space - I’ll encourage us to approach challenges with curiosity instead of judgement.

Throughout my teaching career, I've been fortunate enough to have a dynamically diverse studio.  Some students are classical soloists, early music specialists,  contemporary recording artists, performers on cruise ships, even a few who simply want to feel more comfortable at karaoke night.  It has been, and continues to be, my privilege to meet each student right where they are - helping them get where they want to be!

Some tools we can explore together are: science-based vocal pedagogy to create efficient and healthy vocal habits,  trauma informed performance habits, somatic techniques to combat stage fright, encouraging you to trust your instincts as an artist, researching repertoire while building an audition book, providing career guidance and when appropriate even using my personal professional contacts along the way.

One of my favorite aspects of applied instruction is the individuality of each student. I believe that one of my biggest strengths as a teacher is my ability to meet students where they are while creatively finding new ways to communicate technical concepts.

As an active performer myself, I understand everything about what it is like to stand on a stage - to feel the excitement and intense vulnerability that comes hand in hand with performing. I know my path and experience as a performer - both on and off stage - has brought me a unique skill set that translates in the studio.

My goal is to actively work to find creative solutions for YOU - can’t wait to work with you!
